Your files are yours. JPEGConvert is designed to process them in your browser and collect only limited information about how the site works.
Our hosting and content-delivery providers may receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, referrer, and request time. This information is used to deliver, secure, and maintain the site.
On the production website, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful and where a workflow fails. Google Analytics may process ordinary device, browser, network, and page-use information under Google's own terms.
Our custom product events are deliberately limited. They may include the tool or page, whether a file came from the picker, drag-and-drop, paste, or a sample, a broad file family, a broad file-size range, a result or failure status, a stable error code, a broad processing-time range, an export action, and Core Web Vitals. They do not include file names, file contents, exact file sizes, file dimensions, custom conversion values, or extracted text.
Standard conversions and the Check My File feature run in your browser. We do not upload or store the files you choose during these workflows. When you follow a recommendation to another tool, you choose the file again; the homepage does not transfer it to that page.
Some tools load browser software, fonts, or supporting data from third-party content-delivery networks. Those providers receive a normal resource request, but JPEGConvert does not intentionally include your file in it.
We use this limited information to deliver the site, find errors, measure performance, improve confusing workflows, and understand which tools are helpful. We do not sell your personal information.
We use HTTPS to protect traffic between your browser and the site. Browser-based processing reduces file exposure, but no website or device can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep a backup of important files and review the downloaded result before deleting the original.
Privacy rights vary by location. You can ask what information applies to you, request an available privacy action, or ask a question about this policy by contacting us.
We may update this policy when the site or its providers change. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
